I belive thats a usual thing for them, considering (as i've seen on TV) the rustic houses of japones/chines (sorry) they dont have chairs / beds like europeans and such, you know... sleeping on the floor... SO ... you got the point

actually those tables were made for preteen school children to eat at and its so uncomfortable to sit on those tiny sits when you have grown up. just try it

Its normal to them cause actually in their house they have no chairs the sit, with their one knee bend i think their not use sitting on a chair...
