Til you realize what’s going on…

These breath-taking images were taken in the Orda Cave in Russia, where only those brave enough to go underwater dare enter. Just think, a photographer had to go into this cave to take these stunning pictures!

Sardines are not just a tasty treat for some, but they are a formidable and beautiful force off the South African coast each year. This so called "sardine run" contains literally billions of these fast moving fish, making for a delirious spectacle.

These are beautiful underwater caves. They are absolutely breathtaking. They are very dark but with the diver’s lights, they are very eerie. It is absolutely another world in a very pretty place.

These underwater sea creatures are both unusual and beautiful. It is hard to imagine that something so incredible could live and thrive underwater. Some have names you won’t be able to pronounce and some are very common.

These amazing photos are of an eruption of an underwater volcano in the South Pacific. The power of Mother Nature is truly incredible. Although these photos were taken at some distance you can almost feel the power.

Gruner See is a green lake in Austria. In fact, this is a meadow in the woods, but it’s very unusual. From May to July it is filled up with water coming down from the mountains. In some places this lake’s depth is up to 8 meters. The water here is crystal clear.

These amazing underwater photos were taken by Alex Tipple. They were taken off the Australian coast and feature surfers and swimmers who are engulfed in whitewater. They show what a beating they take during the split second moments of being rocked by the huge waves.

The photos in this post are of a man and his son wrestling a 20 foot long anaconda that weighs 120 lbs. underwater. The man is the famous snake handler and all around adventurer, Ross Allen. While it is apparent that the two were never in any real danger, you couldn’t tell it by looking at these photos.

The diver and photographer Brian Skerry takes incredible underwater pictures.

He worked for many notorious magazines as People, Sports Illustrated, BBC Wildlife, Esquire, and even Playboy. He’s also an assignment photographer for National Geographic Magazine. It is no wonder, as his works are mind-blowing.

I can’t wait till summer comes. I enjoy snorkeling and scuba diving. It’s amazing to explore the underwater world this way. It is very beautiful just like the photos inside this post.
