This is a hypermarket of Auchan, a French international retail group which is known internationally. Auchan is a huge distribution group with a presence in 12 countries. However, I have no idea which country this hypermarket is situated in. Anyway, so many products are now ruined. It's a pity…

Mississippi, Kentucky and Tennessee suffered from the most significant floods in the last 20 years. This was the result of torrential rains on May 1-2, 2010. Some areas received 17 inches of rain. 24 deaths were recorded. Record crests were observed on several rivers and springs. Downtown Nashville (Tennessee) disappeared under the water. Many people were evacuated.
Now people are coming back to their homes, starting repairing and eliminating flood consequences.

Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong (China), is slashed by heavy rain. Streets and roads are hidden under the water.

Very often Russians park their cars in garage blocks that are sometimes located far from their houses and are built in lines. Well, this tradition has lead to a real spring “car” flood in Moscow. Some unknown company was installing a heating system not far from a block of garages, and afterwards two water wells “mysteriously” disappeared. Guess what? Over 150 car garages were flooded!

As can be seen from these photos, some floods are worse than others. It doesn’t matter where you live the effects of a flood are devastating and long lasting. As beautiful as Mother Nature can be, she can also be vicious at times.
