After yesterday’s ‘best fails of 2011’ video, here comes another huge compilation dedicated this time to ‘extreme sports’.
If you have a little troubled water, there is no need to turn to Simon and Garfunkel, Cecil County in Maryland may have just the bridge for you. It seems that the historic bridge that crosses over Little Elm Creek near Childs on Route 545 in Maryland is too narrow by Federal Highway Standards. Built in 1932 by the Roanoke Iron and Steel Company, the steel Warren Style pony truss bridge concrete abutments, is 97 feet long, but it is only 27 feet wide from curb to curb, and that is 5 feet short of the Federal requirements of 32 feet for bridges that have more than 5000 vehicles a day traveling over them.
Rock climbers began to stay overnight on the rocks in the 50’s. At first they were searching for convenient mountain “shelves” to replace a bed, and now they are using hanging tent systems called portaledges. They are designed specially for rock climbers who have to spend multiple days and nights on a big wall climb.
Honestly, I wouldn’t be able to sleep hundreds or thousands feet off the ground!

This guy is totally crazy. Maybe he loves extreme, or maybe he is just a hothead. I simply can’t understand what he was thinking about out there.

I understand that nowadays there are a lot of problems with parking lots. Too many cars, and not enough space for everyone. But this guy decided to perform an unreal trick and park his car where it’s impossible to fit.

People who love extreme sports also enjoy showing their passion by adding extreme tattoos to different parts of their bodies.

Actually, some “nuts” started practicing rock-boarding long time ago, back in the 1990s. This sport is called the hardest one. It requires skis or snowboards that are used to ski a lope of rocks. It is very dangerous and extreme to downhill the rubble slope in a straight line, but there are many riders who love rock-boarding and can’t live without it anymore.

Big fans of Twilight are like any other extreme fans, they are people with a passion that goes beyond understanding and common sense for other people who don’t share the same obsession.
And as good Twilight fans as they are, they did not forget to decorate their bedroom with posters and other goodies from the popular vampire saga. Some people really have no life of their own…
Yep, I will never get how people (especially women) can be so obsesses with Twilight and the so called “one of the sexiest men in the world” Robert Pattinson, but as they say, to each their own!

Here’s the secret Russian GPS ;)))
I wish I had one like this!

Mallakhamb (“malla” stands for wrestler, “khamb” means pole) appeared as exercises for Indian wrestlers in 17th century. Sportsmen had to use a 2.6 m wood pole, and today this tradition is practiced by many gymnastics. On these photos you can see many Indians balancing on the pole and building human pyramids around it. What makes Mallakhamb the most unbelievable sport is that some of the guys who are fond of it are blind!
