Looking at the pictures, we could think that those people are sleeping in a gymnasium because of a disaster but no, there is another reason for that.
All those people are parents of new university students. They’re sleeping there to ease the ‘difficult’ separation of the first night far from them, normally…
Of course, it’s for the poor parents, rich ones can go to hostels.
