The MAME-CAM, created by Japanese company Thanko, weighs only 11 g and shoots video and photos. The mini camera cost around $100. It shoots video in 640×480 resolution, pictures in 1,600×1,200 and records audio in mono quality. It has a battery life of about 36 minutes (when shooting video).
This idea is incredible. Not only does this cardboard Halloween costume look like Nikon camera, it is also fully functional!
Photographer Lisa Bettany took the exact same photograph with every generation iPhone to compare the quality. See for yourself how this impressive piece of technology has evolved.

These are very interesting photographs of animals in the wild by as many as 420 hidden cameras which were installed in tropical locations. It’s a rare thing to get a photograph of animals in their natural habitat.
In 1936, a 16-year-old Dutch woman Ria van Dijk hit the target in a mobile dash. When she got to the target, the camera took a shot to confirm that the target was hit. As a result, from the age of 16 to 88 Ria van Dijk has been taking self portraits of herself at a fairground shooting gallery. The last prize she won in 2009 at age 88!

This cool project was conducted by Matthew McVickar. He attached a disposable camera to a cardboard, and taped on instructions for mail employees on the package to take pictures with it along the way to it's destination.

Jegen Horst, German cat’s wildlife photographer, noticed that his cat’s food disappeared from time to time, so he decided to catch the thief red-handed. He set a trap with his camera, a log and an egg.
A Polaroid camera will do some marvelous things to your photo. That is until it gets stuck. Then it isn’t much fun anymore.
It is amazing how incredibly stupid it looks when people try to take a picture with their iPad2. It looks as though they are going to hit someone with a notebook. There is nothing like being discrete.
Yikes! This guy obviously needs some lessons on how to rob an ATM machine. Not only was his method of using an axe violent and unorthodox, but he also forgot about the surveillance camera. Needless to say he got busted.

Do you believe in ghosts? Personally I have never seen one. But these people assure they have. More of it, they have managed to capture ghosts on camera, so you can view their photos and judge yourself whether these pictures are real or manipulated.

Cooper the cat has been taking pictures over a year periodically and there’re plenty of them.
You’re maybe asking yourself how a cat can take pictures, well it’s quite simple with a cat-cam, a small camera that Cooper wears on his neck once a week and that snaps a new photo every two minutes.
Now let’s see what life is about through the eyes of Cooper the cat + some pictures of the cat itself:

An interesting BeetleCam project created by two brothers from the UK has helped them to take wonderful pictures of wild elephants, lions and other animals in Tanzania. Brothers Matthew and Williams Burrard-Lucas spent two weeks in savannah letting their camera roll on its wheels closer to the animals to make the best shots. They operated their device from a distance sitting in their car nearby. Elephants were ok with the moving “enemy”, but lions crushed the camera and threw it away. Luckily, it was possible to restore the memory card and make these photos available. Enjoy!

You can easily lose small objects like cell phones or cameras in any place at any time and there’s almost nothing you can do about it. But you can do something for people who find it.
A guy has created a ‘pictoral guide to avoiding camera loss’.
It’s brilliant, first because it’s funny, secondly because it’s kinda clever.
Discover his method after the jump..
