Here are some very touching photos of some kangaroos that were taken in the Belgrade Zoo. The jill and the joey seem to be doing just fine. These are some very rare kangaroos in so much as they are Albino kangaroos.

Being an albino in Africa is not only difficult but also very dangerous.
There is a real “hunt” on them in Tanzania and Burundi.
People believe that the body parts of albinos bring wealth and luck.
For example, fishermen are making fishing nets out of their hair because they believe it will bring abundance and lots of fish.
International organizations offer camps where albinos can live and be protected.

Two bear cubs - Salt and Pepper (14 pics)

In Norway, on 26 March, the employees at the Polar Zoo in Bardu were very surprised that one of the new born brown bear cubs was albino. The “white” one is a girl; she weights about three kilograms, very active and friendly. The cubs were named simply Salt and Pepper.
