International Wildlife Conservation Organization has announced the winners of its photography contest devoted to wildlife protection. You can see all the works created by contest participants and winners. Many of these photographs are simply stunning, but some are very dramatic.

I love great photos of nature, but the works by Saul Santos Diaz are truly magical! The contrast and color make me breathless. Even if he digitally manipulates his works after taking the pictures, I am still in love with these unearthly beautiful photographs!

Even though you may not be confronted to such problems, these situations happen frequently throughout the world. They’re due to many various reasons but one thing is sure, Nature can destroy in a second what men put years to build. These are probably the most beautiful natural landscapes I’ve ever seen in my life. This is how I imagine paradise :) This beauty is situated in Croatia and is called the Plitvice Lakes. In 1949 the lakes were nationalized by the government and turned into a national park. The park was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1979.

The lakes are renowned for their distinctive colours, ranging from azure to green, grey or blue.

By the way, the park is one of the few places on the planet, where new waterfalls appear every year.
