British eco-pioneer Rishi Sowa began constructing his first Spiral Island in 1998. He used around 250,000 plastic bottles to build a 66x54ft (20x16m) island which was located in a lagoon near Puerto Aventuras, on the Caribbean coast of Mexico.Unfortunately, it was completely destroyed by Hurricane Emily in 2005, but not discouraged, he decided to build a new one: Spiral Island II!

Take a look at these great pictures of how the river gets rid of ice. What an incredible sight!

This floating unit is conceived to be a floating office but as it is flexible and you can configure it as you wish, it can also be used for other purposes: hotel room, storage space…
It features a couple of desks, a fold-out bed, a lounge, a kitchenette… and different options are offered. The $91,000 H2Office is designed to be put in a marina or a private waterway.
It’s not a bad idea but I think most of people will prefer to buy a boat!
