If you have ever wondered what it would be like to attend this huge music festival, now you know. There are a lot of scantily clad white girls, including Paris Hilton, shaking their money makers for all the world to see at this outside concert.
Each year in Valencia, Spain the citizens put on a five-day celebration of Saint Joseph that culminates with the burning of the fallas or ninots (puppets). These puppets are constructed throughout the year and then destroyed in a fiery blaze, making for compelling images. Parades worldwide should take their cue from this festival.
Who wouldn’t want ink spread all over their flesh, including their neck, hands and backs? Apparently there are quite a few people in love with covering most of their bodies with colorful tattoos, and even a few willing to modify their bodies in the name of art.

Thousands of tourists and residents in Spain sprayed each other with wine during the famous San Fermin bull-running festival. This is a street drinking party that lasts for 9 days. “Viva San Fermin!,” this traditional shout from the City Hall balcony started the festival. It was followed by the firecracker’s firing called the chupinazo.

Peru’s Guinea Pig Festival gathered together many “cuy” owners. Guinea pigs look cute, funny and bizarre in fashion contest. But the weirdest thing about this festival is what people do afterwards with their cute pets…

This famous Japanese festival is held every 6 years in the Lake Suwa. Onbashira means “the honored pillars” and consists of two parts: Yamadashi that takes place in April and Satobiki that is celebrated in May. Men prepare for the first part by cutting down huge trees that will be used as logs later on. During Yamadashi, participants have to drag these logs down the mountain. Young guys show how brave they are in “Ki-otoshi” ceremony by riding the tree poles on the slope. It’s rather spectacular.

Oktoberfest is one of the most famous festivals in the world.
And if we talk about beer festivals, it is the world’s largest one.
The Munich Oktoberfest, traditionally, takes place during the sixteen days up to and including the first Sunday in October.
This year, the Munich Oktoberfest will take place from September 19 to October 4. More than six million people are awaited to attend the event.
The festival will last for about 2 weeks, so I think this is not the last picture collection from this fun event.
Well for now let's see how it all began. By the way, there are plenty of beautiful girls inside the post ;)

Burning Man is an eight-day annual event held in the Black Rock Desert, in Northern Nevada. It takes its name from the ritual burning of a large wooden effigy on Saturday evening. The event is described by many participants as an experiment in community, radical self-expression, and radical self-reliance.
The event was open from the last Monday in August until Labor Day (August 31st to September 7th 2009, so yesterday). In 2008, 49,599 people participated in Burning Man, in 1986, it was only 20 people on a small beach in San Francisco…
It is all about art, music and performance and this year, the theme was “Evolution”.

'Barbie foot' is a creation of Chloe Ruchon. This French designer has simply combined a table football with Barbie dolls. The idea is simple, original, unique and it's interesting to see how she managed to mix the masculine world of table football with the famous doll for little girls.
'Barbie foot' was part of the DMY youngsters exhibition at DMY Berlin Design Festival 09.
