The Ice Hotel is built each year near Quebec City in Canada. It takes about a month and a half to build it. 60 workers, 15,000 tons of snow, 500,000 tons of ice and $350,000 help to make it real.
Hotel de Glace has about 80 beds, all made of ice. Only the bathrooms are heated. They are located in a separate insulated structure. Tourists pay about $200 per night to stay here.

Named after the Princess Louise Caroline Alberta, Lake Louise is a beautiful “royal” hamlet in Alberta, Canada. This marvelous area is now one of the leader attractions of Banff National Park. The lake has a surface of 0.3 square miles (0.8 square kilometers) and is drained through the 3-kilometer-long Louise Creek into the Bow River. Lake’s water has emerald color that comes from rock flour.
