This afternoon I am heading out to Washington Square. This place has a slightly unfair reputation as a rundown bar area frequented by grizzled Vietnam War veterans Oil Field Dudes and CIA spooks who couldn’t face going back to America.
In 2004, Time magazine described Washington Square (Bangkok) as “one of the last refuges of the hard-bitten American in Asia looking to get drunk in peace”. Let us all hope that this scruffy but rather endearing entertainment area continues to serve such a useful purpose for many years to come
The plan is to have a few drops and dinner at famous landmark, Bourbon Street restaurant and bar in Washington Square

Otherwise, good selection!
