He left Esquire magazine in 1952 after being denied a $5 raise just to launch a world famous magazine. Its first issue featured Marilyn Monroe. He has been listed as one of the 50 most powerful people in porn. Since then he has opened numerous Playboy clubs around the world and now an 84-year-old-man who resides in a mansion in Los Angeles, California with three girlfriends.
