Miss Japan 2010. From Kimonos to Bikinis (9 pics)

In any beauty contest, it is rather unusual for most of us to see the contestants dressed in Kimonos one minute and bikinis the next. However, in a Japanese beauty contest, that is exactly what they do. I suppose the equivalent would be to see the contestants in America dressed in business suits and then in bikinis. It illustrates how different countries have different beauty criteria. Nevertheless, I think it adds considerable class to the event. What do you think?

Number 12 (I call her this because I don't know her name... though I'm not fond of calling people numbers) is so pretty.

Kimonos, Hanboks, are so elegant. I like to see different traditional dresses.

I will have to post traditional Danish folk dresses.
