If you wondered Why It’s Better Not to Celebrate the New Year in China (22 pics), you are really going to be amazed at the goings on during the Chinese Festival. With the population in China it is amazing that these people ever get anywhere. Not only do they not have private transportation, for which there are insufficient roads anyway, but there public transportation systems are absolutely packed beyond belief. People are stacked like cordwood everywhere and there is absolutely no where you can go and be alone.

Actually, I've been through this a few times. The people are so used to crowds that everyone just gets on with it. How much personal space do you guys really need?

I'm with abc, everyone just wants to be with their families, a European airline hub at x-mas or an American airport before thankgiving might look like this too. drinks
