The "Mexican" mafia as described in number 6 seem to be more Mexican-American rather than Mexican. The cartels in Mexico are totally different and the "pandilleros" are street gangs like those in any other country. The gang that has spread from Central America onto Mexico and the US are the Maras. I believe they started in El Salvador.
