Jamaican-British Yardies were the Jamaicans who immigrated to Britain in 1950s. They were involved in gang violence and got to be known as Yardies. They conduct organized crimes like drug trade and other gun crimes. They havenâ€™t tried infiltrating the law enforcement system so they arenâ€™t considered to be as strong as other mafia groups. the mexican mafia it's not just in Mexico, it is in Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras
i think there is also in USA, we call them mareros (pandilleros/gangsters)
that tattoo is not a mexican symbol, is the name/number of their mara

they ask a tax to the poor people, they also rob in the streets and if you dont
give/have money they just kill you
due to the corruption and the "human rights" none can't do anything, so the people in the small towns are "taking care of them"

The "Mexican" mafia as described in number 6 seem to be more Mexican-American rather than Mexican. The cartels in Mexico are totally different and the "pandilleros" are street gangs like those in any other country. The gang that has spread from Central America onto Mexico and the US are the Maras. I believe they started in El Salvador.
