Gorgeous piece of craftsmanship. If by 'functional' you mean 'do all the parts work like the original', I suspect it is. The problem in actually shooting it would be creating scale ammo -- the rounds with the rifle appear to be dummies. I'm guessing it's about 1/3 the size of the original which would call for some 10 caliber ammunition -- could be handcrafted but would be a seperate project all in it's own.
