As a matter of fact, pageants can be useful to maintain the control of the inmate population and can also be good for their morale. yes, they really have this kind of pageants in russia. i saw a report about one in a girls correctional facility. some of those women are really beautiful - and to think that they might be murderers or something of the likes... creepy...
